Air Mass Meter Question 200 1991

ok my AMM has been giving me a code 121 intermittently and it fnally died yestarday, disconnected it and the car ran. I got a used one for free from work. It's the same model # 007. However this one has the mixture adjustment screw on it while the one in my car that is dead dosen't, should it work with my car? I'd just like to know before I go out in the cold and play with it.
