Oil Blowing out of Filer cap? 900 1991

I switched to synthetic about 6 months ago. Need to add a quart every 2-3K. Don't see anything on the ground. Do see some from oil filer cap. Have been noticing a noise from engine area around 70-75mph. Hard to describe, it's not high picthed, actually low pithced. Could it be coming from turbo? How can you tell if the turbo is producing to much pressure? Also the seconc muffler is leaking a little, could that upset back pressure? I know lots of questions.
