Had an interesting phone conversation with my trusted Volvo (dealer) mechanic about the PNP swtich. He's not seen very many 900 replacements of the switch, but mostly the 850s have had mor ehtan their fair share. But then suggested that it can vary with an individual car, one can go its entire life without a change, another might be on its third one..not sure why. Perhaps luck of the draw in swtiches.

I think I might order one to have on hand...the one incident has made me nervous. Not that it will fail, its just the hassle of replacemnt and being stuck someplace when I need to be somewhere else. Oh well.
