Hello everyone,
My 740, non turbo, has been kept outside for the past three years and has basically been bullet-proof, as far as engine performance. Yesterday, I started it to move it into the garage to try to track down a water leak into the front and rear footwells on the drivers side. It started, like it always has, on the first turn of the key. I moved it in and shut it off in probably less than three minutes. Later in the day, I went to start it and it cranked fine but no start. It did not take long and I could smell fuel, like it was flooded. Anybody have any ideas? It did this way back when I first bought it. Only when it is has been started and shutoff within a very short time. I had it checked out and nothing found wrong. I live at 2000 ft. elevation and do not know if that might have an effect. It has started first time, everytime, since I have had it, except for these two aggravating incidents. If it does not start today, it is being towed to the mechanics garage. Help!!!!!!!
