Would a 3:91 rear differential increase the fun out of my 85 760ti wagon? need advice 700

I have a 78gt i am almost positive i will part out. i am thinking of keeping the 3:91 rear end and installing on my 760 turbo wagon which currently has the 3:54 setup. would this be worth the work or is it most likely a problem. i dont know what the difference would be like so i am asking if it is worth it.
