Home-made Tranmission gasket 200 1993

Hola bricksters:
Just finished replacing the tranny filter/ gasket on my AW70. Upon removing the filter,one of the gaskets on the spacer above the filter broke...No one had this gasket in town...I used a gasket hammer(= tiny ball peen style) and a manila folder from my office to beat out a new gasket...a little rough but it fit. Car is running fine,shifting great, etc....did I do an unkosher thing??? Where can one find these gaskets?...they don't come with the "filter kit".
