Thanks to those who responded to "unfixable mystery problem" I posted yesterday. I forgot to add some things to the original message. When starting the for the first time of the day or when it had been sitting for a long while, the car would start, idle up to 1200 rpm (like a choke would to warm up the engine) and then a second later idle down, down ,down and stall. I start again and it would start fine. Then, usually, a few days later I would try to start it and it won't catch. It only happens on the first starts and NOT when just running erands around town. I checked the fuel pump relay and it is fine.
