Everybody's good i hope.

Today i looked at a '91 740 turbo wagon.It has 1039xx miles on the speedo.The owner is the second onwer of the car. He bought it four years ago. The guy is a friend of my best friend's father.Anyway he said that he has not one problems with the car until now. He got regular oil changes. The car has beeen sitting for a couple of weeks. I started the car and it came on the first try.Revs were good then it just shut off.Started it right back up.Stayed on for about 2-3 minutes then shut off again.The guy (Joe) says that he had a new intercooler hose and turbo replaced.His mechanic said that the hose/pipe was cracked and replaced that. Also replaced the fuel pump. He wanted 4 grand for the car when it was running. He says that he does not have the time to take off from work to get it looked at. He just had his fourth kid and need a van. So the car sits in front of his place. He wants 2500 for the car. My gut tells that this probably is the relay. I think it's a diamond in the rough. Is this a good buy or let it go?? I DID look at the 700/900 FAQ. Any thing else to add? THanks for all replies..
