EVIL STALLING PROBLEM - ANY ADVICE 200 1981

My 81 245 (B21F) is back from the dead after a year of storage. This is a breakdown of the work I've done or had done to date. But I still have a stalling problem.....
(New wiring harness, new neutral safety switch, rebuilt alternator, new IAC motor, replaced all vacuum hoses and intake boot with a better used one, new battery, plugs, wires, coil and cap & rotor and I'm hoping the mechanic replaced the intake gaskets when he finished up this project)
Before the harness melted, there was a intermittent stalling problem - usually when it rained. Now that everything is back together the car runs smooth. But when put into drive it will still stall. I kept turning up the idle
until it will no longer stall but it is way too high. I don't have a tach, but my other 240 does and it sounds about the same in the 2000 rpm range.
I'm out of ideas.
Is it possesed after being brought back from the dead? Do I need an excorsist
done to release the demons from it?
Ben
