Well I just got back from my first long trip with the new family wagon. What a great highway car. Very nice ride and great seats. We got about 24 mpg on the highway on the way home running 87 octane. After reading everyone's replies to my octane post last week I decided that I'd give high test a try. I was getting 20 in town and 24 on the highway. On the interstate on the way back we got 26 mpg. Not too bad for a loaded down station wagon that effortlessly shatters speed limits.
At one stop on the way home, I noticed that the service light came on when I started the car. It only stays on for a few minutes but it comes on every time I start the car now. Anyone know what this is? I'm assuming its some sort of timer set by the dealer last time the car was serviced and it just turns the light on after x miles or y months.
Thanks for any help
