Hi folks,
My '81 240 wagon w/ 3sp automatic needs a few seconds to slide into gear on cold mornings. Once it gets going it's fine. It's been doing this for years, but now that I'm selling the car I don't want it to self destruct on someone else. Someone told me it might just be a dirty transmission filter (which I haven't replaced for a LONG time...). Any thoughts on whether this is likely a minor or soon-to-be major problem?
