Boost gauge 900 1993

My car is the 940 turbodiesel.
As this is a car with a turbo I wonder why there is no boost gauge in the dashboard?
I like to know what my boost pressure is while I'm driving!
Although it will be simple to install the gauge,Volvo did never install this boost gauge on turbo diesel engines? ( D24TIC )
