Oil filter removal tool of preference

Hello,
I changed the oil on our 1991 Volvo 240 for the first time Sunday and had a heck of a time getting the oil filter off because of limited clearence with the preheater stove on the engine. I use one of those grabber type oil filter removers and will be switching to somehthing else very shortly. What is the tool of preference for the rest of you fellow bricksters?


If any of you use the ol filter remover that use a socket and ratchet what size remover do you use for a Mann filter?
