Can You Re-attach a Bumper that Fell Off? 200

So,

I woke this morning to see the rear bumper of my 89 240 lying, completely severed from the car, in the middle of the street. I'm looking around, looking at the body for damage, and don't really see anything except the bumper, in the middle of the road. So I was wondering if anyone knows how to stick that puppy back on. Is it ruined now, do you think? or can it be just stuck on some how?
