I recently had my mechanic replace all the motor and transmission mounts. It seemed to improve the car but when I accelerate - from under the hood - the engine still has some play/sway to it. Is this normal? The mounts aren't Volvo oem but seemed to be up to par since they were hydralic and German made. Also, my automatic gearshift handle literally moves a quarter inch or so when I brake hard. Any ideas? Did I get jipped? Thanks in advance.
