My brother who is a big volvo fan has found a '93 240 140,000 mi. 5 speed man. for $4,000. I saw another post from someone asking questions on an '89 wagon... flame trap, pvc system clogs, black vinyl on the exterior, and synthetic oils. Does anyone have any advice on what to look at before buying a '93 240. My brother told me that model has a diagnostic output... does that system have a long term memory i could look at or does it get reset after the last problem was fixed if that would be something worth doing how much is diagnostic reader cost?? thanks for any help or advice.
