Hi all,
Finally got my 1980 244 DL on the road, rides good except this am the timing belt went, damn. Guess it sat too long.
Questions:
I installed the Tach that goes in the center of the dash, can't find a Tach wire, should it be there? or do I have to run one?
Do the same front end parts wear out on manual steering models?
I remember reading about odometer repair on these models, does anyone know how this is done.? I remember something about superglue and a gear to the shaft or something.
Thanks for any help you can provide...
