Pressure under oil cap 700

On my 1989 740 turbo when you remove th filler cap there alot of pressure. Also it just started leaking oil from some on the passager side of the motor. I wanna know is there a way to check the flame trap on my car or what would be causing it to leak oil. Thanks tim
