1990 760 turbo headlights, do these things come off? 700 1990

My '90 760 turbo has a problem with its headlights, the right side light isn't securely fastened. On the far right side under the hood the light ataches to a round peg that fits through a square opening. On my car the plastic cone type of piece that fits over the plastic rod types piece and behind the square opening to hold it on has broken somehow. I have been studying my car for a while to try and find a way to get the light off so I can replace the part. As of now I am lost. If anyone has any help for removing the light and putting on these retaining pieces it is much appreciated.
