Rebuilding my dual SUs ('68 144S), and was told by an IPD rep. that I should switch out my intake manifold for an aluminum unit from a pre-'66 122. My intake manifold has butterflies in it, that apparently helps to pre-heat the air (?)...anyways, the aluminum unit does not have these butterflies, and I was told this would give me better engine response/performance, and help eliminate some of my pinging problems (hot air=more pinging "pronage")
So, uh....d'ya guys know where I could get one of these? Pretty please?
