So it would appear that the problem is not the calipers. Now I'll focus my attention on the booster area. Local junk yard has one for $50 but I haven't decided to buy it at this point.
BTW, the brake line connections at the MC that the Volvo repair shop put on are leaking fluid a little. I can't decide if I want to go back there and take the shop owner for a ride and have a man to man conversation about their sloppy repair work.
I've done all I can do for now until I dig into the repair manuals to find the specs on the booster rod adjustment.
