compression numbers, please 700 1986

Greetings all-

Going to run a compression check on my friend's 1986 740 (B230 engine) this afternoon. He hasn't got a manual yet, and I am hoping that someone would be kind enough to let me know where the compression numbers should be at. It would be greatly appreciated.

His engine seems to be comsuming oil, so we are trying to track down what is happening inside the engine.
