speedometer markings 200

I need to replace the odometer in an 89 245. I want to get another cluster from the junkyard, but I noticed that there are different markings under the speedometer.

The one in the car is k9800 while a replacement( from the yard ) has r 0,98.

What is the significance of these markings? Is it the ratio of the speedometer/rear end?
