How similar 91 200, 86 700 AC/Ventilation Systems? 200 1991

I am currently suffering from failing AC vents on longer trips(over an hour)
AC is working, blower motor is pushing air for a while then the ventilation dies with blower motor still spinning it's heart out, I've read the 86 700 Query archive on "Air Conditioning Vents Not Working",will this info help fix the problem on a 91 240? Thanks to all.
