Power Trunk Release Location! 200 1984

I have a '84 240 DL
I have the power trunk release motor, switch, and wires, but I can'nt figure where its supposed to go. I see the hole where the bar fits in to unlock, and it works, but there is only one hole in the inside of the the trunk lid, and it is way too close to the lock. Thanks alot!
