Lighter way to tow 760 900 1994

I had a tahoe all set to tow my 85 760. But my driver just bailed, so now I am stuck again. I guess I have to tow it with my 94 940 turbo wagon. Someone had mentioned somthing about a tow bar, what is it and can I use it? I am trying to eliminate the 650 pound uhaul trailer. thanks
