Water pump heater hose plug 200

Hello, all,
I am currently driving a 1984 with the B23F engine. Haven't had it very long and am still on a very steep learning curve. Had to change the water pump and didn't like the looks of the pipe that entered into the water pump from the back. Yup, corroded end did not seal on new O-ring. Followed the pipe around to find the heater core has already been bypassed by connecting the heater hoses together. I live in South Florida and really don't need a heater anyway, so I wanted to fix this in a neater fashion. Does anyone make a plug that would fit the heater hose outlet and clamp in place like the OEM pipe does? Also, pipe doesn't budge easily from it's seat. Is there a hard mount to the engine for this pipe under the exhaust manifold? I just had some minor surgery and climbing around and under is a little uncomfortable right now. Will do it if I have to, but would like to avoid it if I can.
Thanks in advance
Bill
