Hello all,
Got my 1980 DL on the road. Some things are bothering me though...
There is play in the steering wheel, is this normal in a manual steering setup?
What components should I look at if its not?
Got the Timing belt replaced, and the timing set to 9 degrees, engine sticker says 8 + or - 2. Seems ok at this setting. There is a knob at the base of the throttle body, what does this regulate? Idle speed or mixture? Its a large turn by hand knob.
I got the Tach installed in the dash, is there a factory wire for this in a DL?
Anyone know of an odometer repair. The speedometer works good, no odometer.
Will the newer clusters work in a 1980? Say 82/83???
Last item, seems really noisy at speeds over 55, its a 4 speed no OD, normal?
