I m the proud owner of a 89 240dl wagon. I love this car. it has a 5 speed trans. When it is raing or damp out there is a whinning sound that cones from the engine compartment. The faster i go it increases in sound. when I run through the gears it does it but only when damp outside. does anyone else have this or have had this and made it go away. bc...
