tranny output shaft movement - seal/bushing/housing 200 1991

I just got the extension housing off from my 240 1990 automatic.
After removing the housing, I grabed the spline shaft coming from the tranny and tried to move it. Noticed a very slight movement - Is this normal or do I have a problem ?
