I've noticed that occasionally, the 4th gear disengagement light, on my '94 940 turbo, is lit when I start the motor. Usually it will go out after I've driven a quarter of a mile or so. Mileage is 58600, and of course it is due for the transmission to be serviced (so says the Maintenance Record book), and trans fluid changed (which I intend to replace with synthetic), at 60K. Is this disengagement light a symptom of the fact that it is coming up to the time for service, or does it suggest a solenoid (or whatever) problem.
The advice of the experts would be greatly appreciated.
