I am makeing a crazy attempt to rebuild my AW70 tranny it started to leak about 20k ago and finally i jus couldnt take the pool in my driveway anymore and i pulled it out, well the shaft was extremly loose and the rear of the tranny was leaking like a hose peeing. now that it is out, i also would like to know where those damn check valves are so i can replace every one of them so it shifts propery, also i could use and ideas or assistance i what i should replace in this guy so it will go another 250k before i have to take it out again. I would like to after im done have this tranny running like or as close to new at any cost for replacing of parts. BTW does anyone know how to get it apart, i can get to the vavle body ut after removing the inter screw that hold what would appear to be the insides together it will not slide out do i also need to remove the screw holding the bell houseing together. I appricate any and all help that can be provided here.
