Hey Brickers,
I want to cure the shuddering I have when I start from a stop. I have an 81 245 with a Standard Tranny. When I start from a standstill, depending on how smoothly I let out the clutch, I get a fair bit of shuddering from the rear end. The Gear shifter will lurch up and down, and the whole car will shake. It's not violent shaking, but enough to be annoying, as it doesn't feel like the car hooks up solidly with the pavement blah blah blah. I have had the rear suspension bushings looked at, and they "seemed" ok, but can you really tell without replacing. The engine mounts are in really good shape, so I don't think there is a problem with them? Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
