blowing vacum lines 700 1988

Ive recently acquired a 88 760it and have run into a new gremlin. The beast started to shift real late in 1st under hard acceleratiom. I meam you have to get off the gas. I popped the hood and found the vacum lines off the vacum canister that is to the right of the radiator and the vacum line that comes off the top of the intake. This line is the one with a check valve and converts to a hard line(white) that runs back over to the firewall passenger side. whats up with that??? If you reattach them and drive the car they will blow right back off. They wont come off in the garage in park. Help.....

also have 87 740it
86 740 gle
83 240t
