Removed speedo on my daughters 88 245 w/inoperative odo expecting to find stripped gears... instead found the black reset pushbutton and mechanism broken...

Anyone successfully dealt with this?

Also, the white locking tab that holds the 3-wire connector on the back of the electric speedo; are these avaiablable at the dealer (this one broke while disconnecting).
