Tranny 200

Well, I succeeded in taking out the transmission in my '84 245. All went smoothly. Now I'm going to get a new clutch kit and start the "put it back together" process.

My question is this, The inside of the Tranny (bell housing area) is really oily, dirty and smells like burnt brake pad (clutch). How can I clean this out and the tranny itself. Is engine degreaser a good idea or just brake cleaner.

Thanks,
Will
