Help appreciated to diagnose problem with 740GL braking and possiby brake booster or check valve on high mileage car w/o ABS. Symptoms include soft pedal and air noise (like air escaping) in passenger cabin when pedal depressed. Understand that booster problems on 740s are very rare. Seeking input and suggestions regarding how to diagnose and repair and any other kind help. Many thanks.
