1982 240 dl won't start 200 1982

question:
i have a '82 wagon. i had not started the car in several months. when i attempted to...it would not start. i had changed out the glove box (a couple months before)...but probably forgot to disconnect the lamp...so it may have run down the battery eventually. i jumped the car...got it to start...drove it (briefly) and tried to start it again....nothing. i jumped it again....it started...drove it for at least 30min...parked it ....and tried starting it again....nothing. i wanted to know if it would be wise to try and charge the battery ...or replace it....or if it could be something else.
