no power on in tank fuel pump 700 1989

I have a Volvo 740 GL 1989 which I purchased three months ago.
When I just got the car it drove very nice but know when the fuel tank is half empty it stalls or wants to stall when I come out of a corner and start to accelarate .
I have checked a couple of things and found out that I don`t have any power on the in tank fuel pump.
When I checked the pink wire on the connector just before the fuel tank there was nothing.
I went into my fuse an relay box and checked fuse 11 .
The fuse was ok and when I checked to see if there was some current availlable on this location I had nothing either.
Also I seem to mis my overdrive relay.
On the Fuel Relay I found this pink wire again and
a pink/white wire.
The pink/white wire does have 12 V on it but the Pink one doesn`t have anything both with the engine running and not running.
Does anybody know where this pink wire and pink / white wire is connected to ?
What does the overdrive rel;ay ?
It is not in its socket but the car still drives .
