tapes get stuck in my td 6141 700 1987

i put a tape in my deck and it gets stuck and wont eject. it stops the radio like its gonna play the tape but it other than that its silent. ive pressed every button and nothing happens. i had to resort to a needlenose to get the damn thing out.

any tips would be greatly appreciated
