drum type rear end swap options into 1967 wagon 120-130 1967

A buddy with a 1967 wagon needs to replace his differential. (He's actually taken to mixing sawdust with the rear end gear oil to quiet this thing down.)
He figures it's easier to swap the whole rear end, rather than pull the ring and pinon and replace that. (I concur, though if we had a spreader, I might try that)
Question is, assuming that he can work with 4.30 or even 4.10, what are the other possible donors?
Looking at the downloaded cvi.com exploded diagrams from both 122 and 1800 rear ends (he wants to stay with rear drums) it looks as though the Spicer rear with drums on the 1800 and the 122 wagon rear have identical welded connections/brackets. Can anybody verify this?
When I look at the RPR catalog (page 34), this is not the case. The wagon's mountings in RPR cat. look to be unique, although the 122 sedan 1967 - on and the 1800 1966--1973 look to be identical.
Any clarification welcome.
