Hello. I bought my old 765ti back in Jan and never really checked the AC b/c the weather was so cold that I didn't know if it was simply outside air coming in. Today, it is 80 in MD and....I don't think the A/C System is working.

I have d/l'd the FAQ from this site but have no idea where to start. Can someone give me an idea - maybe a walkthrough for AC newbies. I'm good with a wrench BTW.

Here are my thoughts: I'm sure I have R12 but have no idea of checking. I read there was a sight glass but can't find it. How do I pull the compressor in? Can i top it up woth R12 or is that illegal?

Help please.
