Now that I've driven my 89 GLE for a while, I've realized that it really leaks oil.... about 1qt every 2000 miles... Where does this engine leak, I know i see the spots on the ground... Just wondering if there's any common places.... It looks like the valve cover... and that part where the flame-trap attaches to on the bottom... (what's that called?) also looks like the flame-trap hoses could use to be changed aswell.. they're a little hard... (the car sat for about 3 years before i got it) Just add this to the maintenance I'm doing at the next oil change.... balance tensioner ($38), new fanbelts, oil pump bolt, and more....
