Thanks to all that replied to my post yesterday!! Now here's an update;
1. I disconnected the Idle Control Valve electrical connector and started
the car.......IT IDLED FINE..NO HI-IDLE..I let it ran for a minute
to see if it jumps back up..No, idle stayed low.
2.Reconnected the electrical connector and instantly,high idle!!
3.Disconnected the connector again (while the engine still running),Still
hi-idle.
4.Shut off the ignition..Jump in the 940(the other car) and headed to work w/
a smile on my face.
my diagnosis;
1. I've got a sticking idle control valve or a bad one.I remove this during
the wiring harness installation(car has 230k)and might have damaged it(?).
What do you all think?Can I service this idle valve?Where is a good place
to get one??? Pls. give me you diagnosis.Thanks a lot...
