update on '89 240dl probs 200 1989

thanks guys for all the advice!!!
i did manage to get it running again....found out i need to replace the battery cables....
now here's my new question:
i can't seem to locate any info on what type of cables to get. i need to know if they have a lead on them (i looked but wasn't too sure)...and the proper length. i work for an auto parts co...and tried to get them yesterday...but our books don't list a part number for the '89 240 DL wagon...it has '86,'87 and then jumps to '92. so if anyone knows this info ...or the volvo part #.

thanks for all the help!
maggie

oh and one other thing....could anyone tell me what's the easiest way of going about all this...as far as replacing them? i have a haynes book for my older volvo...and i didn't know if the same info would still apply. (i guess i need a new one really)...but anyway.

thanks.
