Squeek in seat ...94 940T. Help! 900

On the 94 940T I just got ...all is well ...ceptin' the squeek that comes from the drivers back, just behind my left arm. It does it when I press toward that side, or just push back slightly as I drive.

I have read the FAQ on removing the cover. I just wondered if anyone else had experienced this, and what I might find when and if I do remove the back covering.

By the way, the seats are cloth..and it may be my imagination, but it almost seems like that seat is damp when I sit in it (but it's not). Could it have gotten caught in rain with the window down ..really got soaked, and something rusted inside the seat back?
