carburetor?! 200

I am trying to explain the role of the carburetor to my son as "choke" to provide richer or leaner fuel/air depending on temp. of engine.

to my dismay i hve been unable to locate the carburetor in my 240.

is it without? does it use a diff't system to regulate fule/air ratio? what is the system used.

explanations much appreciated.
