240 boost gauge install on non-turbo 200

I have a turbo gauge set (oil pressure, volts, boost) that I want to install on my 1987 NA 240. I figured I might as well hook up the boost gauge to watch the vacuum. The gauge has a vacuum line on it, maybe 18" long. What can I connect that to? Do I have to run it through the firewall to the intake manifold or can I attach it to a vacuum source already behind the dash?

Also, the gauge set has a wiring harness on it but I don't see anything behind the dash to connect it to, so I guess the car is not prewired, is that correct?

Thanks,

Terry
