87 760 turbo- starts and cuts out 700 1987

This is my first time on the Brickboard. Looks like a lot of good stuff. I just bought 1987 760 turbo sedan and the car will start and run for approximately 7-10 minutes and will shut off. I let it sit for couple hours and it will start and do the same thing. Does anyone have suggestions on what the problem could be.
Note: starting with the cheapest fixes first.
