The speedometor on my '85 240 sometimes acts like a metronome, in other words it teeter-totters back in forth while excelerating. This particular car is used as an extra car in my family. It has 235K and presently drives less than 200 miles/month. When I pulled it out of storage and drove it to my college yesterday(30mi)and the metronoming in the speedometer had stopped.
